Americans Encouraged To Resume Dental Visits

The Wall Street Journal  (4/11, Landro, Subscription Publication) emphasized the importance of Americans resuming dental visits, mentioning that research points to a connection between oral and systemic health. Dr. Anita Aminoshariae, a professor of endodontics at Case Western University, said the benefits of receiving dental care far outweigh the risks of COVID-19 transmission at the dentist.
In addition, Health (4/9, Gillespie) included dental visits in a list of the five “most important” health appointments to resume.
