Patients With Dental Anxiety Encouraged To Share Concerns With Dentist

In a consumer-focused article, U.S. News & World Report  (1/14, Wynn) said “the fear of going to the dentist is high on the list of general fears,” adding that “one survey conducted by market research platform DentaVox showed that six out of 10 survey respondents worldwide reported dental fear.” With this in mind, U.S. News shared “tips to ease dental anxiety and maintain good oral health.” For instance, U.S. News said to “acknowledge your fears by talking to your dentist or dental hygienist,” explaining that “your dentist cannot help if they don’t know about your fears.”
